Meet Kristina!

Kristina grew up all over the world but her love of photography began in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 5. She loved the photos hanging on her family's walls; photos her father had taken of flowers, trees and waterfalls that adorned the halls and living room. When the family moved to Okinawa, Japan in 1993 she picked up a camera and began snapping pictures of beautiful clouds, which she still enjoys doing today.

“I like to think I do more than just ‘take photos.’ I love capturing emotion; love, joy, laughter...happiness! Life is beautiful but can sometimes be hard...really hard... so I believe in taking the time to capture and document the sweet moments between loved ones. My clients are able to look back at their photos with a warm flutter in their hearts, and this is exactly the type of feeling that I want my photos to give... A captured moment in time that can be relived over and over as they look through the photographs I’ve taken for them.”

A lot of clients have commented on how well she interacts with their children, particularly with toddlers/preschool age. Kristina has worked as a Professional Child Caregiver, Preschool Teacher & Youth Counselor, caring for newborns all the way up to the good ol' teenage years.

“Easing a nervous or moody little one seems to be one of my super strengths. I make the photo session seem like more of a play time than a ‘sit, be still, smile’ sort of affair. The more silliness & fun (and sometimes treats!) we have the more smiles and laughter there is to capture on camera.”

Kristina is a Mama of 2 and has been married for 14 years. The births of her children, Fynn & Annika, and all of the fun adventures they've shared since they were tiny inspired her to pick up her camera again & capture all the smiles, the messes, the fun and the moments they never wanted to forget. Photography isn't just her passion - it's her OBSESSION. She eats, sleeps and lives off of everything photography related. Kristina even went VIRAL summer of 2020 for her 'Dudeoir' Photo session. She loves pushing herself creatively, loves to laugh & enjoys sharing life's adventures with her friends & family.
